STATIONARY STEAM ENGINES

 

Exhibition quality scratchbuilt mill engine and pump.

 

This superb model was built by the engineer who used to maintain the full size engine in a Lancashire Mill and he assures me that it is a replica copy.(the mill has since been demolished)

Turning the handle on the front activates the engine, governer and pump-NOTE the marquetry work on the floor-done to perfection. The oak case measures 19"long, 9"wide and with the perspex cover, 8"high. The diameter of the flywheel is 5".

Exhibition Standard "Model Engineer" Centre Column Beam Engine. (best known as the M.E. Beam Engine.)

 

A truly superb piece of model engineering bearing the makers name on a brass plaque. G. F. Meeson, Coventry, 1969. Standing on its hardwood base it measures 18"long, 10"wide, 13"high. Flywheel diameter 9".

Oil Pumping Donkey Engine.

 

A fine working model of the oil pumping donkey engine. Works directly off the mains electricity and quietly nods away pumping thick oil up at every stroke.
